Het is echt waar. Jij hebt in mama’s buik gezeten.
Wij zullen dat nooit vergeten.
Jij was toen nog zo klein.
Wij wisten niet dat Michiel een jongen maar wel dat Amber een meisje zou zijn.
Toen je dan geboren was voelden wij ons zo rijk
en wij werden door jouw komst enorm verblijd.
Dat jij ons als jouw mama en papa hebt uitverkozen
is het mooiste wat ons ooit kon overkomen.
Ons werd de mooie taak gegeven
om van je te houden en je te begeleiden in je leven.
Als progeriakind ben je geboren
en ook al ben je anders, je zult immer en altijd bij ons horen.
hi, im shaniah thomas and im 11 years old i have been so fond of thinking about progeria cures..now that school is going to start soon i am going to raise money and would like to share it among all progeria familys .just remember with god all things are possible!!!!:)

Hello Michiel and Amber, i saw your interview about your deseas in the french channel. And i just wanted to express you my support regarding your situation, and tell you God can you by the blood of his son JESUS CHRIST, yes because he sent him to save the world of sin and health. Indeed, in your interview Michiel said ‘ i believed in God but i stopped believing in God because before God could heal but now he can’t’, but me i believe God is the same yesterday, today and forever that is to say which God made in the past he can make it back in the present. So, take your faith and keep hoping in God because such as GOD heal people affected by AIDS, he can heal you if you believe God is power in all thing. GOD BLESS YOU

Hallo, ik ben Maureen 19 jaar oud. Gisteren avond was ik voor mijn televisie en was zeer hard geraakt door jullie verhaal. Ik denk dat Michiel en Amber geen betere ouders kunnen wensen zoals jullie. Ik hoop voor u en u familie dat ze beiden nog lang zullen leven. U bent een pracht van een moeder en hoe u met u kinderen omgaat is gewoon fantastisch.

Wow. I didn’t know much about progeria until I watch that tv show tonight. I must say first that your child are absolutely cute. They are lucky to have such brave parents like you do, and I feel they bring you so much love back. I felt very sensitive about your lives story. A family loving each other more than everything, over and over the disease. Wow, what a great lesson. I wish you the very best.
